Linear Polyethylenimine (PEI 25000) is a high-charge cationic polymer that readily binds with highly anionic substrates. In research, PEI readily binds to DNA and other negatively charged biological molecules, making it one of the most efficient vector carriers available.
Delivery on this product is usually within 7 – 10 days.
Description
Linear Polyethylenimine (PEI 25000) is a high-charge cationic polymer that readily binds with highly anionic substrates. PEI readily binds to DNA and other negatively charged biological molecules, making it one of the most efficient vector carriers available.
PEI 25000 contains some partially acylated amines (N-propionylated) from isomerization-polymerization of 2-ethyl-2-oxazoline followed by acid-hydrolysis of resulting N-propionyl-PEI. For fully deacylated PEI, see Polyethylenimine HCl MAX, Linear, Mw 40,000.
